Terms & Conditions

Last updated: 16 October 2026

These terms govern use of qcok.in and the qcok-qc software by any shop or individual ("you") that registers an account. By registering, you agree to these terms and to the Privacy Policy.

The service

qcok.in provides mobile phone QC/grading, certificate printing, GST/margin-scheme billing, inventory/warehouse tracking and related tools for the used/refurbished phone trade, through a Windows desktop application and this companion web portal. Grading reflects only the checks actually performed on the phone at the recorded time; it is not a guarantee against faults that appear later or were not part of the test performed.

Accounts

You must be a genuine business or individual trading lawfully, provide accurate business/GSTIN details, and keep your password confidential. You are responsible for activity under your account, including from any PC signed in with your mobile number and password.

Credits and plans

Use of certain features (e.g. one QC session per phone) consumes prepaid credits or requires an active subscription plan, as shown in your dashboard. Prices shown are in INR and may change; a price change does not affect credits/plans you already hold.

Acceptable use

Buying, QC and data wipe of a seller's device

When you take in a phone from an individual seller (trade-in / buy-back) through the qcok-qc desktop app, the software requires you to record that seller's consent before the purchase can be received: that they own the device or are authorised to sell it, that they authorise QC testing and a factory data wipe for resale, and that a photo of their ID is stored for this record. This consent record (and the ID photo) is kept permanently - including after the device is resold - as your proof of authorisation; it cannot be deleted from the software. You remain responsible for actually collecting this consent honestly and for complying with any law that applies to buying second-hand electronics in your area.

Certificates and verification links

Each certificate's public verification link (qcok.in/r/<code>) shows the result of the test recorded for that device at that time. If the device is retested later, the newest result is what should be trusted; we mark older links as outdated when a newer one exists for the same device.

Intellectual property

The qcok-qc software and qcok.in platform remain our property; registering gives you a licence to use them for your own business, not ownership of the software.

Availability and liability

We aim to keep the service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. To the extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the preceding 3 months. We are not liable for a device's condition beyond what the specific test result records.

Suspension and termination

We may suspend or close an account for breach of these terms, fraud, or non-payment. You may stop using the service at any time; invoices and records already created remain as required by law (e.g. GST records).

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, with courts at Hyderabad, Telangana having exclusive jurisdiction.
