qcok.in is operated by Samriddh Event & Trade Fair Solutions Private Limited ("we", "us"), for shops and individuals who buy, grade, repair and resell used mobile phones ("you"). This page explains what we collect through the qcok.in website and the qcok-qc desktop/mobile apps that connect to it, and what we do with it.

What we collect

• Account details: your mobile number, name, business name, address, city, state, GSTIN, email and phone, and a password (we never store the password itself - only a salted scrypt hash of it).
• OTP verification: a 6-digit one-time code sent by SMS to verify your mobile number at signup, login recovery and certain approvals. We store only a salted HMAC of the code, not the code itself, and it expires in 5 minutes.
• Shop profile: your shop logo, GSTIN and address, used only to print on YOUR invoices, reports and certificates - never shown to anyone else's customers.
• QC/device data: certificates generated by the desktop app for devices you test (asset ID, model, masked IMEI, grade, test date) are uploaded so the public verification link (qcok.in/r/<code>) works for your customers. We do not collect data from the phones you test beyond what appears on the certificate.
• Payment data: when online payment is switched on, purchases are processed by Razorpay. We receive the amount, order ID and payment status - never your card, UPI ID or bank details, which Razorpay handles directly.
• Technical data: IP address and basic request logs, kept only as long as needed for security (abuse detection, rate-limiting) and not sold or used for advertising.

How we use it

To run your account, print your shop's details on your own documents, verify certificates for anyone who scans them, process payments, send OTPs and service messages, and prevent fraud/abuse. We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.

Who we share it with

• Fast2SMS - to deliver the OTP SMS to your mobile number (only the number and the code).
• Razorpay - to process payments, once online payment is enabled (only what's needed to charge you).
• Nobody else, except where required by law.

Where it is stored

On a server located in India (Bangalore), behind HTTPS. See the Security page for the technical measures in place.

Your rights

You can review and correct your shop profile any time from the qcok.in dashboard. To request a copy of your data, or its deletion (subject to invoices/records we're legally required to retain), contact us at qcok.in@gmail.com.

Children

qcok.in is a business tool and is not directed at, or intended for use by, anyone under 18.

Changes

We may update this policy as the service changes; the "Last updated" date above will change when we do.
